M.S Primer is a two-pack primer ideally suited for the automotive refinish trade. Chemical Basis: A good quality acrylic resin system, cured with a hardener component based on isocyanite. General Qualities: High solid content resulting in the ability to achieve high -build up film thickness if required Physical properties:   Density: 1.43 Typical. (Base) Flash Point: above 21 degree C. Solid content 45% by volume / 65% by weight Viscosity: +/- 90 ku’s @ 25 degree C typical (base) Spreading rate: +/- 14 sq metre / litre @ 25 micron dry film thickness Finish: Matte Colour Availabiltiy: Black, Beige Recommended Surface: Preparation: Should only be applied over a suitable primed surface. Surface should be thoroughly cleaned, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Recommended Primer: N/A Overall Coatability: Can be coated with most types automotive topcoats. Recommended Thinner: Good quality 2K thinner / Grade A Lacquer thinner. Application: Mixing Ratio: 4 Parts Paint (base) to one part hardener by volume. Application Method: Spray Application Viscosity: 16 to 18 Seconds FC 4 @ 25 degree C. Recommended D.F.T. +/- 25 - 50 Microns per coat Drying Conditions Surface Dry: 1-2 hours - Hard Dry: 10 Hours Flash off time: 15-30 minutes Pot Life: 2-3 Hours @ ambient temperature. Health and safety Data Use in a well ventilated flameproof area. Protective Clothing, gloves & goggles should be worn with an air fed mask when spraying. Storage: Products contain highly flammable solvents. Store in a flame proof area, away from any source of flame or excessive heat.
