Twin Pack Auto Coating is a two-pack system ideally suited for use in the automotive industry. Chemical Basis: Acrylic Resin System cured with a hardener component based on isocyanite. General Qualities: High quality finish with exceptional gloss and durability. Physical properties:   Density: depending on colour however white is 1.15 Typical (base) Flash Point: below 21 degree C. Solid content 40% by voloume / 55% by weight Viscosity: +/- 75 ku’s @ 25 degree C typical (base) - Hardener Component low viscosity clear liquid. Spreading rate: +/- 7.5 sq metre / litre @ 50 micron dry film thickness Finish: High-Gloss Colour Availabiltiy: White, Clear and full range of toners. Recommended Surface: Preparation: Should only be applied over a suitable primed surface. Surface should be thoroughly cleaned, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Recommended Primer: 2K M.S Primer or a nitrocellulose automotive primer. Overall Coatability: N/A Recommended Thinner: Good Quality 2K Thinner Application: Application Method: Spray Application Viscosity: 16 to 18 Seconds FC 4 @ 25 degree C. Recommended D.F.T. +/- 50 Microns 2 to 3 coats (wet on wet) Drying Conditions Surface Dry: 1-2 hours. Hard dried overnight  and can be dried @ 60 degree C for 1-2 hours (after flash off period) Flash off time: 20-30 Minutes Pot Life: 4-6 Hours @ ambient temperature. Health and safety Data Use in a well ventilated flameproof area. Protective Clothing, gloves & goggles should be worn with an air fed mask when spraying. Storage: Products contain highly flammable solvents. Store in a flame proof area, away from any source of flame or excessive heat.
